Doormen and bouncers in general have a reputation for being absolute grade A d*ckheads, and this latest clip doing the rounds definitely isn’t going to change that perception.

I can’t have been the only one hoping that backpack boy was going to pull out some karate moves and humble this meathead bouncer in front of the whole world on camera. Alas, it wasn’t to be. The poor guy got fully emasculated in front of everyone and was sent on his way with a brutally unnecessary pat on the buttocks. The most frustrating bit about it is – what was this nerd supposed to do? Argue with the bouncer and end up getting powerbombed on the pavement by a guy triple his size? Just a prime example of a bouncer bullying some weakling civilian who has no chance against him.

Couldn’t he have just said “sorry pal, you’re wearing shorts and a backpack, you’re not coming in”? Well of course not because then he wouldn’t have been able to put on this cringefest for the camera. Although in fairness, who the hell turns up to a bar/club in gym shorts and a backpack? Hard to decide who the bigger loser is, really.
