Following the disillusionment that many members of the population of the United States and the world following Donald Trump’s rise to power last Wednesday morning, there is a beacon of hope for some people out there as The Rock has revealed that he’s still thinking about one day running for President.

We actually brought you news that The Rock was thinking about this earlier this year – having tweeted what you can see below – but speaking at the press conference for his new movie ‘Moana’, he had these words:

I wouldn’t rule it out. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible.

This past election shows that anything can happen.

Well yeah, no shit. It’s not quite the confirmation that we wanted from The People’s Champion, but I suppose it’s way too early to get into that as we’ve got four years of Trump (at least) to endure, although that’s if we even make it that far.

In fairness to The Rock, it seems like it would be sewn up if he decided to run as he’s seemingly one of the most popular men in America at the moment. Of course, it seemed from the media that Donald Trump was one of the most unpopular, so maybe that’s a complete fallacy as well. Hopefully we get to see it play out in the not so distant future.
