It’s often been said that people who turn to crime are notoriously stupid, but I’m not sure if anyone is going to be dumb enough to fall for this one.

Following on from an old post that went viral that claimed that it was the gluten in meth that was making it dangerous that recently did the rounds again, the police department in Tecumseh, Oklahoma decided to have a little fun with it in relation to catching some criminals. Here’s the post they put up on their Facebook page:

No news if anyone has actually brought in any yet, but as stupid as it sounds it’s certainly not outside the realms of possibility. When the original satirical article went viral a lot of people thought it was true, and there was also this woman who thought her meth might have been contaminated by ebola after a police announcement. There really are people who are that dumb out there.
