The boys knew that asking a couple of sisters to marry a couple of blokes that were stuck together was a big ask, so they traveled off to Philadelphia to try and get themselves sawed apart. It was only thanks to the sister’s impassioned pleas that they decided not to risk the procedure and stayed together.
They all lived together in one home, and obviously slept in one bed. It certainly wasn’t a chaste marriage either, Chang and Adelaide had ten children and Sarah and Eng had eleven. So between them they banged out over twenty nippers (which is totally nuts) and must have been a complete nightmare at times. Twenty one crying, winging mouths to feed is no joke.
