Other CPVPV Horrors

1) May 2003 –  a woman from a remote southern town was beaten and held in solitary confinement for riding alone in the back of a taxi.

2) May 2007 – a man from the Al Oraija district of Riyadh was found to have liquor in his home and was beaten to death by CPVPV agents:

The father of the deceased said that commission members continued to beat his handcuffed son, even though he was already covered in blood, until he died.

3) August 2008 – a young Saudi woman who was the daughter of a CPVPV officer converted to Christianity. Other religions are not tolerated at all in Saudi. The enraged father cut out his daughter’s tongue and burned her to death.

4) January 2013 – this is the worst of the lot. The CPVPV burst into a dinosaur exhibit in a shopping centre, switched off the lights and ordered everyone to exit. What did the dinosaurs ever do to hurt Allah? Perhaps the police were worried that the Saudi shoppers would start worshipping them? Or maybe they were unsure of the dinosaur’s gender and concerned that the sexes were mixing inappropriately.

Saudi Arabia won’t be on my holiday list for the foreseeable future; things are progressing slowly, but it’s at a snail’s pace. Even respected Saudi historians think that Western women drive because they don’t mind getting raped and Saudi billionaires financially back bombers who kill hundreds of innocent people. This is a country worth avoiding, it’s the innocent citizens of Saudi who just want to chill out that I feel sorry for.

Surely if Allah is offended by Barbie, or males and females chatting, he can sort it out for himself? He is all-powerful after all?
