It’s been a little while since Quentin Tarantino released Django Unchained, but now it’s time to get excited for his latest movie, ‘The Hateful Eight’.

The cast lineup is ridiculous, with Kurt Russell, Samuel L. Jackson and Tim Roth are all back in a Tarantino movie, with newcomers Channing Tatum and Jennifer Jason Leigh also grabbing roles in the film.

In typical Tarantino fashion, the film is surrounded in controversy. This time round it’s because it tackles the issue of white supremacy following the American Civil War.
“My movie is about the country being torn apart by it [Civil War], and the racial aftermath, six, seven, eight, 10 years later.”
Tarantino spoke at an anti-police brutality rally in New York recently, saying:
“If you believe there’s murder going on then you need to rise up and stand against it. I’m here to say I’m on the side of the murdered.”
Following this, American police have threatened to boycott the movie. I’m pretty sure he’s not that arsed. The trailer looks amazing, and it’s very, VERY likely that the film will be epic. They always are.

I can’t wait for this to come out (on January 8th), like most people I’m a huge Tarantino fan, and it’s been a long wait for this latest offering. I can’t quite tell exactly what I think is going to happen yet, because, y’know… He likes throwing mind-blowing twists into the mix. I’m going to put it out there – I’m more excited about this than the new Star Wars.
