The skill and precision that goes into creating model railways has always fascinated me and that was before I even saw this video showing the biggest one in the world.

Miniatur Wunderland is located in Hamburg in Germany and is still the city’s most popular tourist attraction and one of the most visited sites in Germany too. It’s found in a 1,300 square metre building, most of which is taken up with around 8km of track. This video will tell you everything you need to know about it and spell out just how impressive a feat that building this was:
Absolutely spectacular craftsmanship. Definitely somewhere I need to visit – in fact I’m kinda gutted that I’ve been to Hamburg and completely missed it. Was spending too much time on the Reeperbahn though I guess.
