Barry Keoghan is an actor who’s an absolute roll right now. He came to prominence in 2017’s ‘The Killing of Sacred Deer’ where he played one of the creepiest teenagers in movie history, and has just earned his first Oscar nomination for ‘Banshees of Inisherin’. He’s also going to be The Joker in the next ‘Batman’ film, so he’s well on his way to next level superstardom.

Before that happens though, Keoghan is starring in Emerald Fennel’s ‘Saltburn’, which looks like a quality film judging by the trailer that just dropped:

So as intriguing as that looked, we actually got very little about the premise there, although plenty about the film’s visual style. It looks like a sort of coming-of-age film about a young man who gets involved in some debaucherous fun during a crazy summer.

You’ve also got Jacob Elordi from ‘Euphoria’ in there; someone who’s career is also about to take off massively. In fact the whole cast looks very solid:

Saltburn hits select cinemas on November 24 before expanding wide on December 1. Will definitely be checking it out.
