Indonesia, 2008. Charles isn’t our normal Darwin nominee, he was a bright guy who had completed his International Baccalaureate at King William’s College in the Isle of Man. He planned to retire at the age of 30 and even the principal of the college described him as “a very bright boy with a very bright future”. So what went wrong?

Well, Charles was too inquisitive for his own good. He noticed in his garden a cement box full of wires that gave power to his jacuzzi. He decided to inspect them to see what he could learn. Unfortunately he decided to fiddle with these electric wires whilst one of his feet was in the paddling pool. 240 volts later, the end.
