Now we’re charting the fates of a Californian drunk in 1992. First a bit of herpetology for you: snakes “smell” by sticking their tongues out, you probably knew that already. Our Californian drunk obviously wasn’t aware of this fact and took offence when confronted by a rattlesnake’s impudent tongue. He picked the critter up, brought it up to his face and returned the gesture.

The rattler probably didn’t take it personally but decided to sink its fangs into the idiot’s tongue all the same. The venom caused his tongue and mouth to swell which eventually choked him to death.

I’m so glad we don’t have to worry about snakes or massive spiders in this country. OK, that concludes today’s sickness. See you next time.
