Unreal. It’s like this teacher at Bohls Middle School in Texas thought that because he was explaining it really calmly and softly, everyone would be totally fine with him being a racist. He also seems to be clueless about social media because he’s got no idea he’s being filmed and no foresight to realise that talking this way is sending you viral every single time. He’s now been placed on leave pending an investigation, which will surely result in him being fired and blacklisted. But then again this is Texas we’re talking about, so who knows?
Good on these kids who were completely clued in to how f-cked up the situation was. Told him straight away that they’d lost all respect for him. How the hell does this conversation even start in the middle of a lesson with a bunch of 11 year olds? The fact he’s sitting there speaking directly to the black kids just makes it even more mind-blowing. Probably move state or even country if I were him…
