Absolutely unbelievable footage has emerged today of Australian tennis player Nick Krygios telling his Swiss opponent Stan Wawrinka in the middle of a match that his Davis Cup teammate Thanasi Kokkinakis had banged his girlfriend.
They were competing against each other at a Rogers Cup match in Montreal and Krygios told journalists afterwards that Wawrinka was getting a bit lippy, so he decided to turn up the fire a bit with the comment, although he admits he doesn’t really know why he said it and it was a ‘heat of the moment’ thing. Krygios went on to win the match when Wawrinka was forced to retire due to a back injury. Or perhaps a broken heart.

After the match Wawrinka and his coach Magnus Norman were quick to let everyone in the world know what they thought of Kyrgios’ behaviour via Twitter.
What was said I wouldn't say to my worst enemy.
To stop so low is not only unacceptable but also beyond belief.— Stanislas Wawrinka (@stanwawrinka) August 13, 2015

Nick Krygios kind of looks and acts like the Ravel Morrison of the tennis world, so it’s not really that surprising he’s come out with something like this. In case you’re wondering, the woman they’re talking about is Croatian tennis star Donna Vekic, who you can see a picture of below.

Yeah, you can probably see why they’re fighting over her, right, and this probably isn’t going to be the last we hear of this – can you imagine what it’s going to be like the next time Wawrinka and Kokkinakis go up against each other in a match? Or just run into each at an event? Going to be messy.
As bad as when Andy Murray dropped his teammate in it for cheating on his girlfriend on live television though? Probably not.
