Leprechaun — 1993

After the Gremline, Ghoulies and Critters Hollywood was running out of monsters, alas “Leprechaun”   The story revolves around a Leprechaun who hitched his way to America in a suitcase when Daniel O’Grady returned from Ireland.   Daniel goes on to tell his wife that he had captured a Leprechaun and acquired a pot of gold. Before his wife can get him sectioned the Leprechaun pushes her down the stairs killing her.  Ten years later J D Redding and his Daughter Torie (Jennifer Aniston) rent the O’Grady house where local loon Ozzie informs them of the Leprechaun. The rest of the story basically has the Leprechaun killing numerous people whilst Ozzie chases rainbows.  All ridiciolous nonsense you can’t help but love.
