A teenage girl got a hammer stuck in her mouth as park of a dare that went horribly wrong.

Kaley, 14, from Louisiana was challenged by a friend to put the hammer in her mouth after she claimed one of the members in a Korean pop band was “so beautiful I could shove a hammer in my mouth.”

Of course, being 14 years old, she accepted the challenge and of course, it didn’t work out too well for Kaley:

Luckily Kaley managed to free the hammer after about ten minutes, but during that time the photo went viral, leading her mum to finding out about the incident.

Apparently her mum is now “hiding the toolbox” from her daughter. I guess she doesn’t want a repeat of this situation with an even more dangerous contraption – keep that power drill under lock and key. Although it does sound like Kaley has learned her lesson:

There are ways to channel your excitement, and shoving a hammer in your mouth probably isn’t the best.
