An Australian teenager on the run from police has got in touch with a media outlet asking them to use a more flattering photograph of her in their news reports.

18-year-old Amy Sharp is being hunted after she escaped from Surry Hills Corrective Services Cell Complex in Sydney. She was in there for “property offences”.
7 News Sydney reported the story by uploading two mugshots of Ms Sharp onto its Facebook page.
She responded with:
Fair request really. What’s the point of breaking out of prison if everyone in the outside world thinks you’re gross? Then again, some might say it’s Amy’s fault for not getting glammed up for her mugshot the first time around. Good thing you get more than one chance at that.
