It was literally only yesterday that it was announced that Ghostbusters 3 was actually happening and that it would definitely be a sequel to the second Ghostbusters movie but a teaser trailer has somehow already appeared online today.

Of course, because it’s a teaser trailer it doesn’t really reveal anything about the plot or if the original Ghostbusters are going to be back, but it does at least confirm that it’s 100% definitely happening and isn’t just some fake news that’s being pedalled around to try and cheer us up during these uncertain times. Don’t wanna spoil it for you because it is quite effective, so just check it out below:

Ooooooh. The eagle eyed amongst you will notice that it’s the score from the iconic library scene in the 1984 original playing in the background as you head into the spooky barn.

Of course, we don’t know why the Ecto 1 has been left abandoned in the barn or whether they’re heading back into the barn to retire it or to get it back out of retirement or whether it’s the original Ghostbusters or their kids/fans heading in there to get it, but it’s piqued our interest and got us talking so in that regard it’s a successful teaser trailer. Expect more details about what’s actually going to be happening in the movie to be leaked soon.
