If there’s one thing that the pandemic has definitely robbed us of and is still robbing us of then it’s brand new movies on the silver screen, but if we keep our fingers crossed then this might come to an end soon. I have to stress the ‘might’ in that sentence though.

This new horror movie ‘Synchronic’ is scheduled to come out just in time for Halloween though and looks like it could be a doozy. Take a look at the trailer below and the synopsis underneath that:
When New Orleans paramedics and longtime best friends Steve (Mackie) and Dennis (Dornan) are called to a series of bizarre, gruesome accidents, they chalk it up to the mysterious new party drug found at the scene.
But after Dennis’s oldest daughter suddenly disappears, Steve stumbles upon a terrifying truth about the supposed psychedelic that will challenge everything he knows about reality – and the flow of time itself.
Yeah, I don’t really have a clue what that movie’s about from the trailer, but it looks pretty interesting and creepy so I’m definitely in, especially now that there are barely any movies coming out. Let’s hoping it lives up to the hype built in the trailer.
There’s sadly no scheduled UK release date at the moment during these troubled times, but it is slated to come out in US cinemas and drive thrus on October 23rd. Hopefully that means it isn’t too far away from coming out over here, but with cinemas studios figuring that it’s been a major disaster to bring ‘Tenet’ out in terms of box office revenues, it might be a while before we get to see it.
