Sydney Sweeney Wanted To Get A Breast Reduction When She Was 18 But Her Mum Warned Her She’d Regret It Forever

Shockingly, it almost wasn’t to be, as Sydney Sweeney has this week revealed to Glamour Magazine that she was dead-set on getting a breast reduction when she turned 18. Thankfully, her mum slapped some sense into her (metaphorically speaking) and convinced her should would regret it for the rest of her life.

Sweeney told the mag: Flaunt what you got. Own it. Love them. When I was in high school, I used to feel uncomfortable about how big my boobs were and I used to say that when I turned 18, I was going to get a boob job to make them smaller. And my mom told me, ‘Don’t do it. You’ll regret it in college.’ And I’m so glad I didn’t. I like them. They’re my best friends. Everybody’s body is beautiful. When you are confident and you’re happy within is when it really shows to other people.”

What an absolute hero Sydney Sweeney’s mum is. Can you imagine if Sweeney had gotten a breast reduction at 18? Not only might she have missed out on Euphoria and the big Michael Bay movie she’s working on, but it may have also reshaped the world in other countless, unknowable ways, the same way they say that killing a butterfly can have ripple effects on reality for all eternity.
