I feel like it’s been a while since I’ve written about a government figure getting absolutely eviscerated by an interviewer but in reality it’s probably only been about two weeks – it just used to happen every day though so when it’s longer than that it feels like an absolute age.

Anyway, today Dominic Raab was appearing on Good Morning Britain to try and quell the idea that Boris Johnson already knew about allegations of inappropriate behaviour against Chris Pincher back in 2019 and should have done something about him previously. This has obviously blown up after Pincher resigned from his role as Chief Whip last week after admitting that he had groped two men whilst he was drunk.
As is usually the case in these things, Raab tried to defend the situation but mainly argued about the language that presenter Susannah Reid was using. He came across looking inept, idiotic, out of his depth and quite frankly desperate.
Take a look at it below:

Jesus. It’s so funny how Tory ministers have clearly been briefed to say an exact phrase/words and not deviate from it even slightly and they’re so scared of doing so that they just repeat the same line over and over again. Made even funnier by the fact that every time they do something like this it goes viral on social media with everyone calling them twats and morons etc – except their bots of course – and they still haven’t learned that this isn’t a good way of operating. You’ve gotta do something here guys!
As for Johnson knowing about Pincher’s inappropriate behaviour – the exact details of which have yet to be revealed, although I’m sure it won’t be long before it’s rolled out – I’m not really sure if it’s even that big a deal? Or maybe I’m just so dulled by everything that everyone involved in this administration gets up to that I find it neither surprising or interesting anymore.
It’s just expected these days really. Of course someone like that was going to be a high ranking official in Boris Johnson’s government. Where else are they going to be found?
For more of the same, check out when Susannah Reid wore a dress to the NTAs and everyone went absolutely wild. Get a life guys.
