A uni student with a severe peanut allergy is lucky to be alive after his housemates smeared his face with peanut butter at Central Michigan University.

Andrew Seely’s mum shared photos of her son’s swollen face on Facebook, as if the poor guy hadn’t already suffered enough.
She added:
This is a picture of what they did to him. He has a deadly peanut allergy and they rubbed peanut butter on his face while he was passed out.
Because the case is a potential criminal matter, the uni has contacted local police to investigate.
One housemate who declined to give his name said:
It was just a joke, trying to be funny and put it on his face. We didn’t know he was allergic. It was just college students being kids.
We’re sorry to his family that just trying to be funny made it look like we were violent. We were not trying to be violent in any sense.

Definitely not buying the excuse that these guys had no idea about Andrew’s peanut allergy. Of course they knew because people with peanut allergies are always banging on about it. Not to mention that peanut butter is a pretty specific weapon to use against someone who’s passed out on the floor. Not just “college students being kids” IMO, more like ruthless bastards doing what they do.
Thoughts and prayers with Andrew. Especially since he’ll never know the taste of a Krispy Kreme Peanut Butter Doughnut. Mmmm.
