A street harpist who was playing some lovely ambient music on Harrow high street in West London was rudely confronted by a super Karen threatening to report her to Harrow Council for “begging”.
The harpist has now gone viral for the excellent way she dealt with the situation, addressing the Karen while continuing to play her music:

Just unbelievable levels of poise and composure from this young lady, who couldn’t have handled that moany Karen any better. I mean, imagine b*tching about free ambient music on the high street? People have been playing music on the streets for as long as there has been music and streets! Obviously there are limits and curfews on volume and things like that, but talented musicians like this young woman are a total credit to wherever they are set up.
The good news is that the harpist, Robyn Hearts, is picking up a ton of new followers thanks to this interaction. In fact, she’s now closing in on 500,000 on TikTok! Thanks for the assist, Karen! Go bother the guy playing Wonderwall or something.
