Whether you love it or hate it, there’s no denying that there are people out there that find the idea of pineapple on a pizza absolutely revolting and I’m gonna put my hands up and say that I fall squarely into this category. However, it seems like there’s a new flavour of pizza emerging that might finally challenge it.

For some reason, the latest pizza trend is putting strawberries on top of them. This might sound interesting to begin with – in a way that it could work if it was a real classy Italian pizza with balsamic reduction, basil, arugula, and ricotta for example – but when you see the picture below you realise how utterly rank it is in reality.

There’s no way strawberry should be appearing on some cheap takeaway pizza like the one above and it just makes me wretch a little bit in my mouth even thinking about it. Strawberries and mozzarella cheese are not a good combination whatsoever. Yuck. Please let’s not make this a thing and shut it down ahead of time so it doesn’t become a staple of pizza places all over the world like the Hawaiian. Please.
