Pretty much everyone was enthralled by Stranger Things this summer after it debuted in Netflix and many of us found ourselves staying indoors all weekend instead of heading out to the park and having a BBQ so that we could get through the whole series in one filthy binge.

But then of course it was gone almost as soon as it began, what with their only being 8 episodes after all. However news that there was going to be a second season featuring the same characters was quickly confirmed and now it seems like it’s just a matter of waiting thanks to this teaser trailer that just dropped that reveals some details about when it’s going to come out:

Hmmm, yeah OK not many details other than 2017 but I suppose we don’t need to wait until 2018 at least. And in the mean time it gave us all those excellent 80s movies that I’ve never heard of that we can enjoy in the meantime.

If Netflix knows what’s good for it, then they’ll whack all of them onto the service immediately because that’s a sure fire way to get people tuning in all the way until whenever this new series eventually drops.
