I’m not sure if I need to give a spoiler alert for this one as I imagine everyone in the whole entire world has seen ‘Stranger Things’ at this point, but here it is just in case.

Anyway, Chrissy Cunningham didn’t stick around too long during the new season of ‘Stranger Things’ to everyone’s dismay as we all kinda liked her scenes with Eddie Munson, and sadly it seems like the same is going to be said of the woman who played her’s acting career too. Grace Van Dien revealed the news that she’s quitting the acting business on a recent stream after explaining that during the filming of her last movie, one of her producers brought a girl along that he had been sleeping with and tried to force them all into a threesome together.
Here’s what she had to say:

The fact of the matter is the last few projects I’ve worked on I didn’t have the best experiences with some of the people I had to work for.
And with streaming, I get to choose who I hang out with, who I talk to, etc etc.
One of the last movies I did, one of the producers he hired a girl that he was sleeping with and then he had her ask me to have a threesome with them.
So like, that’s my boss. And I didn’t, and I cried. I was so upset.
Ugh that’s so gross isn’t it? You would think that after the Harvey Weinstein debacle that the powers that be would be doing more to keep these kinds of incidents out of the Hollywood scene, but in all likelihood it doesn’t sound like anything has changed at all. I suppose that shouldn’t actually be that surprising though should it considering?
Anyway, fair play to Grace for speaking up about it, although it majorly sucks that she feels like she can’t pursue acting any more because of that situation. I hope she names and shames the creepy old producer and he never gets another job again and she then feels confident enough to return to acting, but it sadly seems highly unlikely that either of those things will actually happen. The game is rigged.
For more of the same, check out ‘Stranger Things’ with a ‘Friends’ style title sequence. Why would anyone make that?
