There’s been a lot of hype over the past few days about a whole bunch of people all meeting up outside Area 51 and storming the place to discover America’s deepest darkest secrets, on the proviso that even the full might of the US military won’t be enough to stop all of them.

Of course, despite the fact that a million people have said they’re attending the event this doesn’t necessarily mean that everyone is going to show up – have you ever been to see a local band play? – and probably not even 1% of that will be in attendance, but the news just in is that we’ll be able to see what goes down during the rush thanks to a local Las Vegas club who have announced that they’re going to live stream it. Not sure how they’re going to do that without dying themselves, but here’s what AREA15 (yeah that’s really the name of the club) had to say about it:

At AREA15, we are curious, too, about what’s going to happen on Sept. 20 at the storming of Area 51.
We will live-stream the “event” onsite to watch what goes down.
Of course, costumes and tin foil hats are required.
Hmm so does that mean we have to go to AREA15 to see what’s going on? I guess some idiot in there would probably film it and post it on the Facebook group, but that’s not quite as good as getting it directly on your computer. Kinda think they’re probably cheesy enough that they’ll make a fake promo video for it and just show that as well. Can you imagine how cringe that would be?
Anyway, September 20th is a couple of months away, so there probably is enough time to make an actual serious operation out of this if that’s what people want. Although the US government has warned them not to bother. We’ll see what happens I guess.
