I think that the iPhone has been accused of staying exactly the same with its newer models – except having a better camera maybe? – for quite some time now, but it’s crazy to actually hear Steve Jobs’ own daughter call out Apple for their questionable business practices and lack of innovation.

As far as I can tell, the only way the iPhone 13 is different to the iPhone 14 is that it has a 6.1 inch screen, a longer battery life and also showcases an ‘always on’ display which shows off the time and notifications while dormant. These ‘new’ features weren’t enough to fool Eve Jobs (you know, like the daughter of God) though as she posted the following meme on her Instagram stories:
I’ve gotta be honest I don’t really get too excited or have an orgasm or whatever when a new iPhone comes out so I’m maybe not the best person to analyse the situation, but most people seem to be following Eve’s line on this. Check out the reaction on Twitter:
iPhone 14 (6.1”) and iPhone 14 Plus (6.7”)
Same design
Same A15 bionic
5 colors (new blue)
Upgraded camera system with larger sensor and wider aperture
New 12mp selfie camera with autofocus(Feels like the iPhone 13 Pros minus a camera and dressed in aluminum)

Quite. But yeah, there you have it.
I guess it’s up to you if you want to be the coolest kid in town with your new iPhone come September 16th, even though it’s essentially the same as the last one. Not sure if having the newest iPhone is quite the status symbol that it once was though anyway.
If you decide on getting one, it’ll set you back £850. Worth it?
For more of the same, check out the drop test on the new iPhone. Maybe they’ve sorted that out.
