It looks like no one is safe from random street assaults in New York City, with Hollywood legend Steve Buscemi punched in the face by a complete stranger in his neighbourhood on Manhattan’s East Side last week.

The good news is Steve Buscemi is OK, but his publicist says he had brusing, swelling and bleeding to his left eye. So far police have made no arrests, but they do have CCTV images of the suspect:

No doubt the NYPD won’t rest until they track this monster down, and let’s hope the New York Mafia, Dog the Bounty Hunter and everyone else get involved in the search too. There should be a nationwide manhunt for this guy!

A while back, fellow Hollywood icon Rick Moranis also got randomly sucker punched in the face in New York City. More recently, a string of female TikTokers were also being punched in the face for no reason whatsoever. Reckon they’ve got a violent crime problem in NYC, or what? You know it’s out of control when even Steve Buscemi is getting punched in the face. Steve Buscemi! By all accounts one of the nicest, most humble actors around, who is also a 9/11 hero:

You would think someone like that would be untouchable in NYC, but unfortunately we are dealing with mentally unstable lunatics here. You can guarantee someone is getting punched in the face at random every day this week in New York City. Might be a tourist, might be a regular civilian, might be a famous person! You simply have to keep your wits about you at all times, no matter who you are. Get well soon, Steve!
