In his time, Stephen Hawking has helped the world better understand the universe and taught us loads about stars, galaxies and black holes, but when it comes to Donald Trump the guy is as stumped as everyone else seems to be.

Hawking was giving an interview on Good Morning Britain and was asked to explain Trump’s popularity.

He answered:

I can’t. He’s a demagogue who seems to appeal to the lowest common denominator.

Hawking also called on British voter to vote to STAY in the European Union for economic, security and scientific reasons.

Looks like Stephen Hawking isn’t so smart after all? The guy might know everything about black holes and galaxies and the universe and whatnot, but yet he can’t explain why Donald Trump is so popular. This has got to make Trump feel good, surely. Even the smartest brain in the world can’t figure him out. Because the day someone figures Donald Trump out is the day his popularity comes to an end. Jeb Bush and Ted Cruz both tried and Trump demolished them both. And he’s about to do the same to Hillary Clinton. What chance does any politician have against Donald Trump if even Stephen Hawking can’t get inside his head?

Let’s just hope Donald Trump doesn’t reply by ripping Hawking to pieces – he and Mark Zuckerberg have more important things to deal with in 2016.
