You would’ve thought that Donald Trump would be an easy subject to incorporate into ‘South Park’ – he’s the ideal candidate to rip into.

However, creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone have said that the Trump administration is too difficult to satirise because it’s funny enough on its own.

Despite the latest series featuring Mr. Garrison as Trump, the pair have made the decision to back off from making fun of the latest US political events. Trey summed it all up in one sentence, “It’s tricky now because satire has become reality,” before adding:
It’s really hard to make fun of and in the last season of South Park, which just ended a month-and-a-half ago, we were really trying to make fun of what was going on but we couldn’t keep up and what was actually happening was much funnier than anything we could come up with.
So we decided to kind of back off and let them do their comedy and we’ll do ours.

Wow – I never thought I’d see the day when Trey Parker and Matt Stone were actually out-satirised. But if anyone was going to do it, it’s Donald Trump.
You know the world’s in trouble when we’re pretty much living out a ‘South Park’ episode. Tune in next week when Donald Trump Photoshops his own hands to make them look bigger.
