It seems like the country is going to be dining out on this Dominic Cummings going to Barnard Castle to test his eyesight meme for some time now – and even though it’s only been 24 hours since it happened, someone has already made a video game about it.

The game is called ’30 Miles To Barnard Castle’ and sees you taking on the role of Dominic as he races to Barnard Castle down a murky looking road, having to avoid a bunch of obstacles in the middle of it whilst his wife and kid annoy you in the background and you battle your own Coronavirus symptoms, including a cough and blurry eyesight. I imagine that’s probably a fairly accurate representation of what it must have been like in real life.
Anyway you can watch a clip from it below or just click on the link and download it straight away if you would rather just get right to it:

I mean that looks like it might be fun for a couple of minutes I suppose? That’s ironic because it probably took a couple of minutes for the government to come up with the ‘driving to Barnard castle to test his eyesight excuse’. All coming full circle.
For more of the same, here are the best memes of Dominic Cummings’ trip to Durham. Some really great material in there.
