Sea/ Lake Monsters
I’m roughly 50% Scottish as far as genetics go, so I have always loved Nessy. But he’s not alone in the lake monster league. Pretty much every country in the world has a lake with a mysterious blood curdler in there. But unfortunately, despite thousands of sightings, even now, in the age of the iPhone 5 (for frig’s sake), we still only have grainy, pea souper snaps of our watery adversaries.
This one was snapped in Argentina in ’96 (when they had decent cameras already), in lake Nahuel Huapi. A guy just left the pics in a newspaper office and walked off without giving his name as he wanted to “avoid future headaches”. Fair enough. I’m not buying it though. Looks like it was taken with a pin hole camera made by a retarded GCSE Physics student.
Allegedly this is an underwater shot in Loch Ness. Anyone who’s ever been to Loch Ness will know very well that it is muddier than my pants. So, this one fails right off the bat. And I think the list of things that it could be outweigh the list of things it couldn’t be.
You’ll like this. The Venda Mermaid photos. I mean, come on. Everyone knows mermaids aren’t real? They’re in the same bracket as Father Crimbo and Michael Jackson. Well anyway, apparently, this very realistic mermaid/man was washed up in the Philipines. Yup.
Just look at it!:
