Wow, what a headline! According to The People Snoop Dogg‘s agent is currently in talks trying to arrange for the hip hop super star to be a new addition to the cast of Coronation Street.

Snoop Doggy Dogg, aka Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr, who is most famous for his west coast hip hop anthems such as ‘What’s My Name?’ has had a few run ins with the law in the past, like when was arrested for cocaine possession and banned from entering England. Snoop‘s also affiliated with the adult movie business since presenting a porno/hip hop music video entitled Snoop Dogg’s Doggystyle‘.

The People published an exclusive interview with the g-funk hustler where he talks about his love for the show.

Snoop on Deirdre Barlow:

I really like Deirdre. She is a woman who just isn’t growing old gracefully. The amount of bump and grind she gets up to at her age is unbelievable. You got to respect that.

I honestly think she is hot in an older woman way. She isnt the usual sort of woman I would have in one of my videos but I think the next time I am on the Street we can talk.

There’s even talks of Rio Ferdinand appearing alongside Snoop:

My man Rio has made me a Manchester man. I know he is from London but he has been there so long its like he is one of them now. Don’t get me wrong, London is off the hook.

But there is a real charm about the north of England. I love it. You can find some great curry restaurants.

If this cameo happens it would be the shizzle if Rio could do it with me.

How bad ass would it be if Snoop Doggy Dogg moved into Weatherfield and started shotting crack to Lloyd Mullany (Craig Charles) and persuading sisters Maria and Michelle to make an XXXmas special, the ratings would go through the roof! We can only hope this happens.
