The Slenderman is one of the scariest modern day horror stories, even more so because it simply started as an internet meme and actually ended in the real life murder of a teenage girl. Really dark stuff.

The murders of course occurred in a small town in Wisconsin, when the Slenderman allegedly told two teenage girls to stab their 12 year old friend. Apparently his work in Wisconsin is done now though, and Slenderman has emigrated over to Yeovil, at least according to one guy who says that he ran into him at a bus stop on the afternoon of December 15th.

The man refuses to be named as he’s too scared of the potential repercussions that might occur, but here’s what he had to say:

I was driving up the road as I normally do and I saw this dark looking figure by Yeovil College. It looked quite tall.

I slowed down to have a closer look and thought it’s not a man, it was about 7ft tall.

It was like something out of science fiction.

I just keep thinking I was in the wrong place at the wrong time. It’s just mad.

I’m struggling to sleep because of it.

Well, it sounds to me like this guy is full of shit and is just looking for attention, or he just overreacted when he saw a mannequin or an overly tall guy. That’s probably why he didn’t want to give his name so that all his mates wouldn’t laugh at him. I really think that the Slenderman has way better things to be doing right now rather than stalking the residents of Yeovil.
