Last night, most people in the country were probably vaguely paying attention to the vote of no confidence that was taking place within the Conservative Party about their current leader and Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

I doubt anyone thought that the party would actually end up turning against Johnson, but I don’t think anyone thought that 148 members would vote against Johnson either. Bummer to be him I suppose, especially when he completely rinsed Theresa May after 117 members of the party turned against her a few years ago. It’s worth noting that she was forced to resign less than six months after that too.

Anyway, that isn’t really that interesting but does form the background to this video clip below where Sky News presenter Sophie Ridge was talking about the no confidence vote and mentioned senior Tory politician Jeremy Hunt who publicly admonished Johnson’s leadership. Except that she got his name wrong and said Jeremy Cunt instead. Whoops:

Lol it even says it on the autocue/subtitles/ whatever that is below, although some people have been saying that that part of it at least is fake. Enough people have been posting it around that I definitely think that she said it live – some people are saying that she’s even done it before – and to be honest you could see Sky News encouraging it just so they have a viral video doing the rounds as well.

Whatever the reason it’s pretty funny and maybe it’ll distract you from the fact there’s even more Boris Johnson to come for another couple of years. For 30 second at least. Ugh.
