Breaking Holly Willoughby news live from a warzone in Israel – you’ve gotta love it. Here’s the general reaction on Twitter X:
It’s incredibly Black Mirror to announce this in BREAKING NEWS fashion from that location with that backdrop.

Announcing this from Jerusalem seems really bizarre.

I feel like this News coulda waited, “breaking” is a bit much 😂

I’m glad he wasn’t busy with anything else so he could let us know! Great reporting!

Is it not a bit Tone deaf to be reporting this from an active warzone?
Could have just slapped it on the chyron and be done with it, deserves nothing more.

Indeed, it’s a bit weird that they couldn’t get anyone closer to home to report it, or in fact anyone else anywhere on the planet that isn’t Israel or Palestine. I guess that’s the definition of Breaking News though, you have to spit it out into the world as soon as possible, even if it’s about Holly Willoughby and even if you’ve just got done telling us about Hamas militants beheading Jewish children.
Really puts things in perspective though. Maybe the people of Israel and Palestine will finally come together to remember the plight of Holly Willoughby. It can’t be easy having a 35-stone Pizza Hut worker plotting to kidnap you.
