Tired of playing poker for a few measly quid and bragging rights over your friends on the weekend? Going through a hardcore poker phase and looking to play with the big boys for a change? Well you’re in luck – Sick Chirpse is hosting its first ever Poker Night TONIGHT and again the following Thursday on Boxing Day, and it’s taking place right in the comfort of your living room.

No, we won’t be coming round and crashing your flat/parents’ house, instead we’re all going to get on our laptops, in the comfort of our own homes, and compete for some big money prizes online with 888 Poker.

You’ll be playing against each other and against the Sick Chirpse team in what promises to be a tense and exciting game of cards.

When?

8PM Thursday, 19th December and the following Thursday, 26th December (Boxing Day) at 8PM also.

As well as cash prizes for the top three places on each night, you are awarded points for your placing in each tournament which are added to a leaderboard. After the Boxing Day tournament an additional three prizes will be awarded to the top three leaderboard places.

Buy in for this tournament is $10 and there will be a chance for 1 re-buy and 1 add-on per person.

Tournament Prizes:

1st) 50% of tournament buy-ins

2nd) 30% of tournament buy-ins

3rd) 20% of tournament buy-ins

So for example, if the total money generated through buy-ins in £1000, 1st prize will be £500, 2nd prize £300 and 3rd prize £200.

Leaderboard Prizes:

1st) £50 + Sick Chirpse t-shirt

2nd) £25 + Sick Chirpse t-shirt

3rd) Sick Chirpse t-shirt

Leaderboard prizes will be awarded after the 2nd tournament on Thursday 26th December to the top three places on the leaderboard points table.

Bonus Prize:

We’ll be giving a Sick Chirpse T-Shirt to anyone who can manage to knock out one of the Sick Chirpse team from the tournament. A list of Sick Chirpse players will be announced within this post on Thursday 19th December.
