Police Give Thumbs Up To Siberian Teenager Selling Her Virginity For $27,950

A Siberian teenager who sold her virginity through an online auction site has been given the green light by police to go through with the sale after the winning bidder — a man named Evgeniu Volnov — agreed to pay $27,950 — about $3000 above the asking price.

18-year-old Shatuniha posted her ad on the Russian auction site 24au.ru, describing herself as “new, not used”.

“I am in urgent need of money, so I am selling the most precious thing I posses,” she wrote. “I am ready to meet up soon, even as soon as tomorrow, and I am ready to have my virginity verified. I can come to a hotel at Predmostnaya Square with a document confirming my virginity, and with a person who will take the cash and leave, so that I am not fooled.”

Russian police said no laws were being broken and that they had “no right to give a moral assessment” of the girl’s actions.

So that’s that then – all systems go for Shatuniha and the man who’s going to take her virginity. Can’t help but feel like the police involvement completely killed the mood though, regardless of the fact they’re cool with it. Way too much extra baggage attached to this deal already. The question is though – who the hell pays near $30k to sleep with anyone, let alone a virgin? Virginity is so overrated – it’s like playing football with the guy who can’t dribble.
