What the hell is going on around here (the world)? We’ve had sinkholes swallowing entire towns in Russia, eating up entire streets in Baltimore, munching up people in China, and now a week after that hail storm that nearly massacred a beach full of people, we’ve got another giant sink hole opening up in Siberia.
The hole is 262 feet in diameter and one expert believes it was caused by a water, salt and gas mixture igniting an underground explosion — essentially the result of global warming.
Whether that’s the case or not (we were thinking more along the lines of alien invasion), it does look like sink holes are going mainstream so we better get used to them. How long until one opens up in the UK?
