I’m not sure about everyone else but you often don’t really realise how bad the racism and division in this country actually is until you see a video like the one below that is currently doing the rounds on social media.

The shocking video was taken outside the Thomas Knyvett school in Ashford and pretty clearly shows a 37 year old woman and her three children attacking a black schoolgirl on Monday. Reports are saying that the girl was subjected to bullying by the 16 year old eldest daughter beforehand, but you can’t really tell that from the video, just that they’re all coming out to pound her whilst she’s just standing around doing nothing.
What you can see in the video that is pretty disgusting though is that the mother encourages her children verbally throughout the fight, telling her 10 and 11 year olds to kick the black girl in the face whilst she’s on the floor and also to pull her braids out. Even if somehow you can argue that the attack isn’t racist, it’s still a pretty shameful four on one attack and really rank seeing the mother effectively coach these little gobshxtes on how to beat someone up who is clearly pretty helpless.

Jesus Christ. What is wrong with people to think that this kind of behaviour acceptable?
It’s also kinda crazy that everyone just stands around and watches and doesn’t try to break it up or anything. Even when the head teacher walks over he doesn’t get involved, just sorta stands there until it peters out by itself.
The family have now all been arrested along with a 43 year old man – I’m assuming the father but I didn’t see him in the video – and they’re encouraging the other 15 year old girl in the video who joins in with them for a bit to hand herself in as well. Hopefully they get the book thrown at them because whatever way you look at this it’s a completely rank way to raise a family and teach them that acting like this is OK.
