Dude Leaves A Note On The Windscreen Of Love Island Star’s Car Asking Her Out

The old ‘note on the windscreen’ technique is probably one of the more underutilised methods of chatting women up these days, but one guy over in LA is receiving plaudits for his attempt by former Aussie Love Island contestant Shelby Mills.

The Queenslander said she respected the “hustle” and that men in Australia would never shoot their shot in that way:

“IDK if you like black guys but your [sic] fine shawty. Let me wine and dine you, no BS. I work two jobs and I drive”

I mean if Shakespeare did pick up lines (and was black), that’s pretty much what it would look like. Just pure class and chivalry. He didn’t approach her like some crazy fan or invade her personal space. He scribbled a note on a napkin, left it on her car, and left the ball in her court like a true gentleman. Dropped the word “shawty” in there in case she had any doubts that he was really black and let her know he’s not about any BS. He works 2 jobs and has a car! What more could a Aussie socialite/former Love Island contestant want in a man?

The guy also left his number and asked Shelby to text him if she was interested, but no word if she’s followed through. Shelby captioned the image on her IG with “Hahaha finding notes on your car. I love America. Respect the hustle.” Doesn’t sound like a ‘no’ to me?

We’ll have to keep an eye out on Shelby’s love life in the coming weeks but don’t be surprised to see her rock up with this dude at whatever influencer event she’s invited to next. Especially after his absolute masterclass on how to chat up your dream girl without ever having her lay eyes on you. Just leave a note on her car and hope for the best.
