3. RAKIJA
This is Serbia’s national drink and is a form of Eau de Vie , so a little bit like Schnapps in Germany. It’s made from various distilled fruits and is extremely potent, especially the Domaca or homemade varieties. Domaca often comes in at 50 or 60% ABV, so it’s basically moonshine. Our rakija dealer sells us Domaca in plastic water bottles from the boot of his car.
