Although the subject matter of the Johnny Depp/Amber Heard trial is no laughing matter whatsoever, the trial itself has been full of so many strange and bizarre moments that it’s almost descended into a full on farce at this point.

Central to this of course is the story of Amber Heard taking a shit in Depp’s bed during the ultimate low point of their relationship. I’m not sure if Heard herself has ever admitted to doing that, but thankfully we have the testimony of a security guard/driver named Starling Jenkins who took to the stand yesterday and claimed that Amber had admitted it to him whilst he accompanied her and her sister to Coachella the day afterwards (skip to around 6:30, although the whole testimony is great):

We had a conversation pertaining to the surprise she left in the boss’s bed prior to leaving the apartment.

I mean the defecation.

Amber described it as a horrible practical joke gone wrong.

She didn’t elaborate on the nature of the joke or what its successful execution would have looked like.

Lol. That’s so blunt isn’t it? I love the way he’s just so matter of fact about it and acts like it’s a perfectly normal incident to be discussing. It’s very convincing.

The weird thing though is that when you watch this you’re 100% sure that everything the guy’s saying is correct, but a different judge from last summer ruled that it was highly unlikely that Amber Heard and/or her friends were responsible for the defecation. At this point it’s almost insanely difficult to know what’s real and what isn’t. Even after the verdict, I’m sure that this trial will be debated for years. Still a lot more to come before that though.
