4) Satellite Speed Up

If you kick a ball on earth it travels until the energy you gave it with your mighty thigh is overpowered by friction from the ground and air. In space when you throw something it will travel in the direction you threw it indefinitely because there is no ground or air to slow it down.
When satellites are fired into the mighty blackness of space and whizz around earth outside of its gravitational pull they are expected to maintain a good steady pace, neither slowing nor speeding. That’s what physics predicts and that’s what we all want to see happen. But it doesn’t.
For some reason, when NASA measured the speed of NASA’s Galileo, NEAR, Pioneer 10 and Pioneer 11 spacecraft they noticed that they all sped up as they passed earth.
This weirdness was first noticed in the 80’s and since then no one has been able to work out what the frig is going on. Astrophysicists have ruled out all other possible energy sources, but they’re no closer to an answer.
Witchcraft is my sensible prediction.
