As people return to work and the lockdown apparently starts to ease, another indicator of normal practice resuming is that celebrities are starting to come out with ridiculously stupid stories for us all to laugh at them about.

The latest of these comes from Scarlett Moffat who appeared on Loose Women today to promote her new podcast ‘Scarlett Moffatt Wants To Believe’ which is all about conspiracy theories. She chose to do this by telling us that she had been abducted by aliens when she was just ten years old. Here’s how she said it went down:
‘I think they wanted us to think it was a dream.’

My boyfriend Scott thinks that it’s a load of rubbish because I said when I was about 10, a massive beam of light went into my bedroom window and then I had a dream.
I think they wanted us to think it was a dream that I’d, like, been visited by aliens. But Scott seems to think that it was just a car headlight and it probably was just a dream.
Yeah I mean I’m probably on Scott’s side here, and if this is her hard sell for me to listen to her conspiracy theories podcast then I think it’s going to be a big no from me. I mean normally you put out some of your best content in your teaser so that people tune in, but if that’s one of the best stories then the whole thing is probably going to be complete drivel.
For more of the same, check out this bunch of portraits of people who have been abducted by aliens. Freaky.
