Despite receiving a life sentence for her part in the murder of trans schoolgirl Brianna Ghey, cold-blooded killer Scarlett Jenkinson has been drawing up a new kill list behind bars while boasting about how famous she is to other young offenders. I guess she’s got to pass the time somehow?
Scarlett, now aged 16, had shown no remorse over the killing and says she plans to kill again. According to reports, she Googled herself and declared: ‘I know how famous I am.’
When asked if she regretted what she’d done, Scarlett replied: ‘I did for two hours. Now I don’t give a f**k and I’d do it again.’ She also said Brianna Ghey’s parents ‘don’t mean anything to me’ when asked.
At her sentencing, Deanna Heer KC, prosecuting, told Manchester Crown Court about the new ‘kill list’ Scarlett Jenkinson had written up: ‘Another kill list was found at the secure unit which refers to names of people caring for her.’
She also asked staff to buy her a book on serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer, who killed and dismembered his victims.
Somehow I don’t think Scarlett Jenkinson will be this cocky and mouthy when she’s moved to an adult prison, but I guess she’s the queen of the young offenders institution until that happens.
The teen received 22 years (her co-defendant Eddie Ratcliffe got 20 years) and won’t be considered for release prior to that. Once she’s done that 20-year stretch, she can then apply for parole and be on strict license/probation for life, if she can convince the parole board she is no longer a danger. So obviously, writing up new kill lists isn’t a great start if she ever wants to see the great outdoors again.
