This is my favourite thing ever (today), and I think it’s about to go viral or something, Following Eleanor Roosevelt’s words ‘Do one thing every day that scares you’, LA based Gregory Tung decided to do just that… for a whole year. Here is his final Youtube video post, as he has now reached the end of his endeavors:

My favourite one has to be… alongside… ‘Shave a Mohawk’, ‘Spend Christmas Eve with a Homeless Man’, ‘Wear a Wizard Costume in Public’, ‘Attend a No Pants Metro Ride’ , ‘Get Colon Hydrotherapy’…. THERE ARE SO MANY!!!! Anyway, this was one of my fave faves:

Thank the heavens the dude doing the project is pretty FUNNY and GEEKY and COOL and doesn’t mind publicly self flagelating in a whole host of hilarious ways… ahhh.
Imagine if it was some bore doing it instead, like, I dunno… Newt Gingrich. He claims: ‘If the Soviet empire still existed, I’d be terrified. The fact is, we can afford a fairly ignorant presidency now’.Well, if he tried to act upon his fears, the world would be an even more depressing place, as I’m not sure I can quite pin point what action he’d be taking, and neither do I want to.
Instead, we are laughing and we are inspired. Today, I’m going to look at myself in the mirror while I bend my ear into a funny shape and not squirm or shut my eyes. ARGH. And tomorrow, I’m going to not eat half a jar of peanut butter. ARGH. And so on.
Here’s his blog where you can read about all 365 of the fears he has overcome!
P.S the picture is of the pig intestines he ate. LAD.
