Kevin Greutert – who edited the first five ‘Saw’ movies, directed ‘Saw VI’ and ‘Saw: The Final Chapter’ – has been tapped up to direct and with a CV like that you can be pretty much assured that the franchise is going to be in good hands. We have been listening to what the fans have been asking for and are hard at work planning a movie that Saw aficionados and horror fans alike will love.
And part of that is giving the reins to Kevin Greutert, director of Saw VI, which is still one of the fans’ favorites in the entire series. More details will be revealed soon.
I guess it sounds like they know what they’re doing and if you like ‘Saw’ films then you’re probably going to enjoy this one. No news on who will be returning from the cast of the previous movies, but you can imagine Tobin Bell will probably show up for a bit and the guy who plays his successor as well.
Even without them though, you know that those horrible death traps are gonna be worth paying the price of admission alone anyway. Gonna be a good Halloween.
