Well the story now has a surreal as fuck twist in that the man who was responsible for leaking Jeff Bezos’s dick pics was this guy – The Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman:

The crotch shots that put Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos’ personal life smack dab in the middle of the public eye may have been stolen by Saudi crown prince Mohammed bin Salman, a bombshell report alleges.

The Saudi royal “hacked” the world’s richest man’s phone by sending him a malicious file via chat platform WhatsApp, according to The Guardian. The two men had been having a “seemingly friendly” exchange when the prince sent Bezos the video file. Hidden in the encrypted message was malware that allowed “large amounts of data” to be exfiltrated from Bezos’ phone within hours, the Guardian reported, citing a person familiar with the matter. It noted that it had no knowledge of what was taken from the phone.

The shocking cyberattack was discovered by digital forensic experts who were examining Bezos’ phone following the National Enquirer publishing details about the Amazon chief’s private life.

Bezos’ investigators have “high confidence” that Mohammed bin Salman delivered the video that allowed the Saudis to get into the CEO’s phone and “[gain] private information” about him, according to the report.

An Amazon representative did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

What’s the Crown Prince’s problem with Bezos, you might be wondering? Well he wasn’t happy that Bezos’s paper, the Washington Post, was reporting on the fact that the Crown Prince murdered journalist Jamal Khalsoggi and chopped him up into little pieces. 

The wildest part is how the Crown Prince managed to hack Bezos’s phone – by sending him an encrypted video file on Whatsapp (the two had been chatting), which Bezos downloaded, resulting in “a massive and unauthorised exfiltration of data from Bezos’s phone, continuing and escalating for months”.

So this just goes to show that nobody is safe from having their phone hacked, right? If even the richest man in the world can be hacked, blackmailed and have his life turned upside down like this over WhatsApp then we’re all at risk. You would think Jeff Bezos is the most careful man in the world with the most super secure phone on the planet, but I guess it also goes to show that you do not mess with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia. Another guy with way too much money and way too many resources.

What will Jeff Bezos’s revenge be? Something utterly terrifying, I’m sure. Anyway, let this be lesson – don’t be sending dick pics to your side piece and definitely don’t trust Saudi Princes.
