I didn’t know this but it isn’t exactly surprising news to me when you think about it, but Samuel L. Jackson is the highest grossing actor of all time as it was recently announced that the movies that he’s starred in have grossed $27 billion. Not bad, right?

Of course, the fact that Jackson has had supporting roles in a whole load of Marvel movies, Star Wars movies and basically whatever blockbuster crap will have him is a major contributor to this fact, but unsurprisingly when asked which of his movies are the best, none of these even bother to come up. Jackson was talking to Stephen Colbert when he decided to reveal them all:
The Long Kiss Goodnight.
A Time To Kill.
Jackie Brown.
The Red Violin.
187.
Wow. I gotta say when I saw this article I did think of ‘A Time To Kill’ and ‘Jackie Brown’, but it’s pretty surprising that ‘Pulp Fiction’ isn’t in there right? That would be in a lot of people’s top movies of all time, let alone to Samuel L. Jackson movies.
As for the other ones, ‘The Long Kiss Goodnight’ was actually pretty fun, I always wanted to see ‘187’ but never got round to picking it up at my local Blockbuster despite seeing it on the shelf every week, and I’ve never even heard of ‘The Red Violin’. Maybe I should go check those out though.
