I’m sorry you had to see that, but believe it or not, there are people paying good money to! In the online world however, complaints seem to be based around either a) Sam Smith being a Satanic, noncey, devil-worshipper doing the Illuminati’s bidding in the form of pop music brainwashing or b) Sam Smith being a gross fat dude who has no business wearing nipple tassels and the like:

Nice to see Andrew Tate getting involved as well. Not sure (allegedly) trafficking/raping women is much better than what Sam Smith is doing, but still. At least we know what side of the debate he’s on, as if there was ever any doubt.

Obviously the word ‘Satanic’ gets thrown around a lot when it comes to Hollywood and pop culture imagery, and it’s pretty clear that Sam Smith and his team are fully embracing and encouraging that sort of talk because it only results in more attention for them. Still, I wonder what sort of age group we’re dealing with as far as children attending his shows, as it’s not really the sort of thing you’d want your kids watching live, is it?

In any case, it’s pretty standard celebrity attention-seeking, especially coming from the guy who sparked outrage for being peed and jizzed on in the Unholy music video. Sam Smith’s team plan for this exact reaction every time and they get it. Fair play really.
